Everyone knows what Halo is. That’s all there is to be said about it. If you’re reading this article, you’ve heard of the mass phenomenon that is Halo, and the recent Halo 3. It now officially holds the record for largest entertainment release ever, with sales for the game reaching an estimated $170 million in the U.S. during the first 24 hours it was made available—breaking records set by the theatrical release of Spider-Man 3 and the release of the latest Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
