Coldplay are a British alternative rock group. They have won numerous awards from Album of the Year to Band of the Year. "Viva La Vida" won the award in 2009 off their album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends which won best rock album. Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion have been together since 1996 and have just released their fifth album in October of 2011, and introduced the song Paradise which has hit number one in the UK in January 2012. They will begin touring North America, Canada and Europe in early 2012.
